LA HABITACIÓN ROJA

The Valencian quartet La Cámara Roja was formed in 1994 by Jorge Martí (vocals and guitars) and José Marco (Drums). Pau Roca (Guitars) joined shortly after the
first demo was released (March 1995), and since 2001, they have Marc Greenwood (Bass) as the fourth component.
His career is a true reflection of his passion for timeless pop songs and is punctuated by authentic anthems that have struck a chord with several generations. Pop rock with broad and generous views, built and practiced with a mix of enthusiasm and professionalism that makes them unique, singular and long-lived.

In March 1995, LHR had its first demo ready: “Play Pop Vol. 1”, characterized by the alternation of Spanish and English and the sound of guitars that they have never abandoned. The brothers Salva and Ángel Sanambrosio, seasoned Valencian musicians from the 80s, were in charge of packaging the production.

Recordaciones en el mar, Astro Discos and Mushroom Pillow have been the record companies that have hosted his career since they released the E.P. in 1997. “Popanrol”, a work that gave them enough muscle to embark, together with Cecilia Ann from Granada, on their first tour of Spain, called “Inestéreo”.

A year later, under the umbrella of Gelmar, his first album, “La Cámara Roja”, would see the light of day, which includes one of his first hits, “Mi Cámara”. Between the end of 97 and the beginning of 98 they returned to the studio, already under the umbrella of Gelmar, to record what would be their first album, the self-titled La Cámara Roja, which was released in April 98. Top hits: “Mi Cámara” and “Te Quiero”, round melodies and
saturated open chords that relate them to snipers of the caliber of Teenage Fanclub or The Posies; and lysergic excursions that Luna could well have signed.
