SANTERO Y LOS MUCHACHOS

Santero y Los Muchachos have managed to create a unique identity within the Spanish rock scene thanks to their approach to laid-back rock, a concept that captures the essence of their music: a rock that moves away from stridency and speed to focus on lyrics and melodies combined with vocal harmonies that remind us of rock classics.

With their first album ‘Ventura’ (2017), Santero y Los Muchachos began to sculpt their distinctive style, receiving praise for their originality and the way their lyrics fused the poetic with the rock. This approach continued on ‘Rioflorido’ (2019), where the band perfected their formula, offering songs that are seemingly simple but full of meaning and emotion.

The band’s third work, ‘Royal Cantina’ (2022), represents a high point in their career. This double album not only earned them the prestigious Carles Santos Award for Best Rock Album of the year, but also highlighted the duality that characterizes Santero and Los Muchachos: the power of their electric version, contained in the ‘ROYAL’ part of the album, and the acoustic rawness, present in ‘CANTINA’.

In 2025, they begin a new tour with their recently released live album ‘Una noche en Les Arts’ to share with all their fans that magical night experienced at Les Arts in Valencia. This album is a review of their entire career, with adapted versions of their best songs and surprise guests who delighted the audience that packed the emblematic Valencian venue. With this new project, Santero and Los Muchachos continue to demonstrate that rock can be a genre in constant evolution, capable of reinventing itself without losing its essence.
